With Fun Stuff Rental Company's VIP Tent Permit & Utility Ordering Service, we'll handle the paperwork, applications, and coordination so you don't have to!

What's Included?

• Underground Utility Locate Request: We'll submit a request through Indiana 811 to have participating utility companies mark underground public utilities before tent stakes are installed.
• Tent Permit Application: We'll prepare and submit the required tent permit application to the appropriate local authority when applicable.
• Fire Inspection Coordination: If a fire inspection is required, we'll coordinate scheduling and communicate with the appropriate fire department.
• Application & Scheduling Management: We'll track submissions, coordinate appointments, and keep you informed throughout the process.

When Is a Tent Permit Required?

For locations following the 400-square-foot exemption, permits are required for a tent or collection of tents exceeding 400 square feet in total area.

Examples include:

• 10' x 20' Tent (200 sq. ft.) – Permit not required.
• 20' x 20' Tent (400 sq. ft.) – Permit not required.
• 20' x 40' Tent (800 sq. ft.) – Permit required.
• 40' x 40' Tent (1,600 sq. ft.) – Permit required.

Multiple tents may be subject to permitting requirements based on their combined square footage. Local regulations and exemptions may vary.

• Indiana 811 does not mark privately owned underground utilities, including certain irrigation systems, electrical lines, and invisible pet fences.
• Permit approvals and inspection outcomes are determined by the applicable authorities and cannot be guaranteed.
• Please purchase this service at least 10 business days before your scheduled installation to allow sufficient time for processing and coordination.
